About the role#
Sheppard Memorial Library is hiring librarian assistants for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 terms. This is a Federal Work Study position located off-campus in Greenville, North Carolina.
What you'll do#
- Assist patrons with finding library materials.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process for items.
- Collect materials from book drops.
- Organize and box book donations.
- Support patrons with public access computers, including help with software, apps, and internet navigation.
- Complete other projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current status as an ECU student in good standing.
- A minimum GPA of 2.0.
- You must qualify for and receive a Federal Work Study award from the ECU Financial Aid Office.
Location & details#
- Location: Greenville, North Carolina (Off-campus).
- Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $12.00 to $14.00 per hour.
