About the role#
Sheppard Memorial Library East Branch is hiring librarian assistants for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 terms. This is a Federal Work Study position based off-campus in Greenville.
What you'll do#
- Help patrons locate library materials.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process for books and media.
- Retrieve items from book drops.
- Assist patrons with public access computers, software, and internet use.
- Complete other projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You must qualify for and receive a Federal Work Study award from the ECU Financial Aid Office.
- You must be a current ECU student in good standing.
- A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required.
Location & details#
- The position is located at 2000 Cedar Lane, Greenville, NC.
- Work is on-site.
- Pay ranges from $12.00 to $14.00 per hour.
