About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Westerville, Ohio. You will join the Supply Chain team to focus on the Lake Shore Cryotronics product portfolio. You will work on production efficiency and coordinate with suppliers to improve quality and delivery performance. This role is on-site and requires working in both office and manufacturing environments.
What you'll do#
- Support data analysis and generate improvement recommendations for the Approved Supplier database process.
- Analyze supplier information and purchased part setup to ensure accuracy.
- Segment suppliers to identify the optimal supply mix.
- Collaborate with the Planning team and Sourcing Engineers on special projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive, customer service-driven attitude and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
