About the role#
The Continuous Improvement Intern supports the Operational Excellence team at DwyerOmega. You will help develop and deploy systems, tools, and standards that drive improvement across our manufacturing network.
What you'll do#
- Create visual management tools, training materials, and performance tracking resources.
- Support Lean Daily Management and Operational Excellence initiatives.
- Analyze data from implementation and performance metrics to find improvement opportunities.
- Assist with documentation, standardization, and sharing best practices.
- Join project reviews and problem-solving sessions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team.
- A genuine interest in Lean, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Location & details#
- Location: Wolcott, Indiana (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2027 (May to August).
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
- Note: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
