About the role#
This 12-week summer internship gives you the chance to execute a project plan with clear objectives and tangible outcomes. You will work alongside managers, mentors, and other stakeholders to apply your academic knowledge to real-world business challenges. Depending on your background, you may be placed in areas such as production, warehousing, quality, or supply chain. This role is paid and full-time.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and managers to support business operations.
- Develop your analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Engage with industry experts through professional and social events.
- Drive efficiency, quality, and innovation by identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Develop critical design criteria for beverage manufacturing equipment.
- Manage operational improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in STEM or Maintenance Technologies, with preference for Junior or Senior standing.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience, such as internships, lab work, or team projects.
- The ability to work full-time and on-site for 12 consecutive weeks.
- A strong understanding of engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and drawing organization.
- Experience working in collaborative team environments.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Santa Clarita, California.
- The internship term is Summer 2027.
- You must be able to work in environments with variable noise, lighting, and temperatures, and be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds.
