The Assistant Dean of Student Life supports after-school, summer, enrichment, and athletic programs to drive positive culture and student outcomes. Reporting to the Dean of Student Life, this role focuses on the design and implementation of high-quality programming that aligns with the organization's whole-child model.
What you'll do#
- Manage daily operations of youth development programming to ensure activities are safe, scheduled, and well-resourced.
- Lead and execute programming independently when the Dean of Student Life is unavailable.
- Support the development and maintenance of school-based and external partnerships.
- Manage data collection and record-keeping to ensure compliance with grant requirements.
- Build relationships with families and promote their involvement in school culture.
What you'll need#
- A minimum of a High School Diploma with 6+ years of youth services experience, an Associate's Degree with 5+ years, or a Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of experience.
- At least two years of experience directly managing youth services, after-school, or summer programs, including planning and development.
- A proven track record of coaching and supervising staff to reach programmatic goals.
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing partnerships with youth services organizations or charter networks.
- Strong fluency in Google Suite, including docs, slides, and sheets.
