About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Co-op position based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. You will work on-site for a 6-month term from January through June 2027. You will join our teams to support the research and development of precision inertial guidance and imaging instruments.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to electro-optical design and the development of optical and thermal models.
- Assist with electrical system design and materials testing.
- Perform hardware assembly, testing, and debugging.
- Work with software and programs including LabVIEW, MATLAB, SolidWorks, COMSOL, ANSYS, Mentor Graphics, Python, and GitLab.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student in physics, materials science, or electrical engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Documented hands-on experience.
- US Citizenship. Please note that we cannot sponsor or hire individuals holding H1B or Student Visas, and dual-citizens are not eligible for this role.
