About the role#
As a Microsystems Integration Intern, you will join a multidisciplinary team to support the research and development of microsystems and advanced materials. This role involves contributing to engineering projects that span hardware and software design, electro-optical design, and materials research. You will gain practical experience by working alongside engineers and technicians to solve complex technical challenges.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and enhance engineering solutions for challenging problems.
- Implement, test, and perform analysis on systems, hardware, or components.
- Provide documentation support and generate test reports, including plots, tables, evaluation criteria, and conclusions.
- Complete assignments to develop a practical knowledge of engineering processes, procedures, and systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians on various projects to build and test systems.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Nursing, or Nutrition.
- Interest in designing, modeling, and testing electronic devices and developing novel multi-physics devices and systems.
- Experience using computational tools such as SPICE, Comsol, TCAD, or Matlab.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to national security programs.
