About the role#
We are looking for college students to join our Campus Correspondent program. You will represent Overheard at your school, share what makes your campus unique, and document the shared experiences of your student body. This is a remote role where you act as the primary face of your university for our audience.
What you'll do#
- Produce 3 short-form videos every month that capture the relatable side of college life.
- Film street interviews, campus vlogs, and talk-to-camera segments.
- Create static content and written posts based on our content calendar.
- Report on campus trends, major events, and local traditions.
- Help shape our future content planning by sharing what is happening on the ground.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current college student eligible to receive internship credit.
- Experience filming and editing content for TikTok or Reels.
- Comfort appearing on camera and approaching strangers for interviews.
- A deep understanding of your campus culture, stereotypes, and social scene.
- A reliable, creative, and humorous approach to content creation.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, or Journalism.

- This position is fully remote.
- The internship term is on a rolling basis.
- This is an unpaid internship for academic credit.
