The Practice Development Intern supports the business development team by assisting with outreach, research, and the coordination of prospective client activities. This role provides exposure to the sales process, client engagement strategies, and service offerings while supporting overall business development initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Assist with outreach to prospective clients via phone and email to support meeting scheduling.
- Coordinate and prepare for meetings with prospective clients, including calendar scheduling and materials preparation.
- Research prospective clients and industries to understand potential business needs and identify opportunities.
- Support practice development leaders in executing outreach strategies and tracking engagement activities.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and update internal systems.
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams on projects and documentation.
- Participate in internal meetings to gain an understanding of services, business initiatives, and sales processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in sales, business development, or client-facing roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
