    About the role#

    The Federal Work-Study program at Diné College offers students the chance to gain professional experience while working on campus. This role provides administrative support to various departments, helping students build their resumes while they pursue their degrees.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide administrative and office support to your assigned department.
    • Help plan, schedule, and implement activities.
    • Coordinate and participate in events meant to encourage social interaction and intellectual growth.
    • Handle clerical tasks including answering phones, writing memos, and running errands.
    • Create documents in Word and manage office equipment like copiers and fax machines.
    • Assist with designing flyers and publicizing special events.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in at least six credit hours.
    • Completed FAFSA on file with qualification for Title IV funding.
    • Unmet financial need as determined by your Cost of Attendance.
    • Good standing with Financial Aid and completion of at least two semesters at Diné College.
    • Pursuit of an Associate or Bachelor's degree.
    • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to adapt to new assignments and department needs.
    • Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.
    • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 lbs.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Shiprock, New Mexico.
    • Work modality: On-site.
    • Commitment: 15 to 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
    • Term: Rolling.
