About the role#
Digital Infuzion offers internship opportunities for students and recent graduates to apply their skills to projects that improve public health. You will work alongside experts supporting federal health agencies like the NIH and FDA. The program includes mentorship, networking opportunities, and a cross-disciplinary AI Innovation Challenge. This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to project deliverables under the guidance of technical and business leaders.
- Participate in team meetings, mentorship sessions, and professional development activities.
- Present work progress and outcomes, including participation in the AI Innovation Challenge.
- Collaborate across disciplines to solve real client problems.
- Produce clear documentation of your work, such as technical notes, analysis, or briefs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program.
- Status as a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.
- Ability to work on-site at our headquarters in Rockville, Maryland.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Academic background in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, Public Health, or Business Administration.
