About the role#
This internship offers a chance to learn master data management from the ground up. You will support the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across our core systems. The role focuses on ensuring data remains accurate and free of errors as it moves between systems like JD Edwards, PIM, and Wrike. You will work with AI-enabled tools and automation to improve data quality and efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Support the creation, maintenance, and audit of new and existing items and their BOM master records in JD Edwards.
- Help enforce data governance standards to ensure information is accurate and consistent.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve data discrepancies and support new item or SKU setup.
- Identify manual, repetitive data processes and help design automated workflows or scripts.
- Learn to use AI tools for data cleansing, deduplication, classification, and anomaly detection.
- Build and maintain documentation for master data processes, governance rules, and automation logic.
- Track data quality metrics and flag issues before they affect operations.
- Support system integrations and data migrations.
- Manage master data projects and cross-functional requests in Wrike.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive, self-starter mindset.
- Willingness to learn JD Edwards and Wrike.
Location & details#
- Location: Carson, California.
- Work Modality: Hybrid. You must live locally and work onsite at our headquarters three days per week.
- Compensation: $18.50 per hour.
- Status: Full-time internship with a rolling term.
