The Production Systems Designer Intern will support the CAD Administration Team with standards, documentation, libraries, and system organization. This role provides exposure to professional CAD environments, design data management, and engineering workflows while contributing to projects that support designers and engineers across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and update CAD standards documentation.
- Organize and audit CAD libraries, including parts, symbols, and templates.
- Support file cleanup and organization, including the review of legacy or non-standard files.
- Assist with Plant Data Model hygiene, such as file audits, reference checks, and metadata updates.
- Create or update user guides, quick-reference sheets, and onboarding materials.
- Test CAD templates, standards, and workflows, and report any identified issues.
- Collect usage metrics and feedback from CAD users.
- Provide general support to the CAD Administration and Process Design teams.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of CAD software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on a team.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
