About the role#
The Office Administrative Intern supports the daily operations of the office, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. This role is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Business Administration or Human Resources who are looking to gain practical experience in office management.
What you'll do#
- Manage courier, shipping, and receiving duties, including the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail.
- Greet and assist visitors, including clients, vendors, and candidates.
- Schedule travel arrangements for visitors and candidates as needed.
- Manage conference and meeting room schedules.
- Oversee third-party office, equipment, and building service vendors.
- Answer and direct phone calls and handle client inquiries.
- Maintain office records, files, and contact lists.
- Assist in planning local office social events and outings.
- Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming workspace.
- Perform tasks requiring prolonged periods of sitting and occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent responsibilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and a resourceful approach to anticipating team needs.
