Software Developer Intern

About the role#

The Software Developer Intern will collaborate with the development team to contribute to the software development lifecycle, including development and testing. This 8-month internship provides hands-on experience in building robust, scalable cloud-based solutions while reporting to a Development Manager. This role requires a full-time commitment of 37.5 to 40 hours per week.

What you'll do#

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance systems and tools for development and quality assurance teams.
• Work cross-functionally to build reliable and scalable software solutions.
• Investigate, report, and track product issues to resolution while escalating concerns regarding planning and quality.
• Participate in design and architectural discussions to ensure code quality and deployment readiness.
• Contribute to the development of quality products, processes, and test automation best practices.
• Perform source code analysis to identify quality gaps and high-risk areas.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Science.
• Strong coding skills in a modern object-oriented language such as C#, Java, C++, Python, or PowerShell.
• Working knowledge of modern web technologies, including JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with the .NET framework.
• Working knowledge of modern relational database architecture and SQL.
• A passion for solving complex technical problems and the ability to work effectively in an agile team environment.
