This internship focuses on helping the Marketing team understand how work moves across the organization and identifying where generative AI can create meaningful impact. You will partner with stakeholders to map workflows, identify operational bottlenecks, and prototype practical AI-driven solutions. This role is designed for a student interested in the intersection of marketing operations, project orchestration, and emerging technology.
What you'll do#
- Interview stakeholders across Marketing to understand workflows, handoffs, recurring tasks, and pain points.
- Map cross-functional marketing workflows to identify bottlenecks in communication, project orchestration, and content development.
- Use AI tools to analyze interview notes, identify common themes, and pinpoint automation opportunities.
- Prototype and test custom GPTs and AI-assisted workflows for specific marketing use cases.
- Research emerging AI tools and trends relevant to content, research, and team productivity.
- Gather user feedback to refine solutions and create documentation, prompt libraries, and best practices for AI adoption.
- Build a comprehensive report or playbook summarizing current workflows, friction points, and prototype recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Strong interest in generative AI, emerging technologies, and workflow innovation.
- Familiarity with AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Copilot.
- Ability to interview stakeholders, ask thoughtful questions, and synthesize complex information into clear insights.
- Interest in marketing operations, cross-functional collaboration, and project management.
- Comfort with independent learning and experimenting with new tools.

- Term: Fall 2026 (September 2026 – December 2026).
- Duration: 4 months.
- Modality: Remote.
- Availability: Full-time (37.5 – 40 hours weekly) is required.
- Location: Canada.
