About the role#
Datalign is a fintech company in Cambridge that uses data and AI to help people find trusted financial advice. As a Marketing & Communications Intern, you will work with our team to produce podcasts, videos, social media content, and PR materials. You will gain experience in marketing strategy and content production while learning how we grow our network of financial advisors and clients.
What you'll do#
- Produce podcast and video content, including research, recording, editing, and creating promotional clips.
- Manage our social media presence across LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
- Maintain the publishing calendar and track engagement, website traffic, and search performance.
- Research and write content for consumers and financial advisors, including social posts, scripts, and articles.
- Monitor news in financial services, technology, and AI to identify PR opportunities and support press releases.
- Experiment with new formats, tools, and AI technologies to refine our content strategy.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree or current enrollment as a graduate student.
- Strong writing ability and a good eye and ear for engaging content.
- Interest in technology, finance, media, marketing, and AI.
- Ability to learn new tools and experiment with technology.
- Experience with video or audio editing, social media management, or using analytics platforms is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is an unpaid internship based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
- The role requires working from the office three days per week.
- The position follows a rolling term.
