About the role#
This internship offers the opportunity to own AI projects from initial research to production deployment. You will work within a cross-functional team to build features that improve user efficiency. We look for individuals who want to take full ownership of their work and contribute to real-world applications.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and build intelligent applications.
- Lead MVP development using a test-and-learn approach.
- Manage the full lifecycle of a project, from problem framing to deploying production-grade solutions.
- Build prototypes and develop data pipelines for deployment.
- Experiment with generative LLMs by using prompts and incorporating user feedback.
- Communicate your work and its impact to both technical and business audiences.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master’s or PhD program in Computational Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ or Java through academic or work projects.
- Expertise in Large Language Models and AI advancements, specifically with NLP, embeddings, GPT, and Transformer models.
- A solid foundation in deep learning, machine learning, statistics, and optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and AI deployment on AWS or Google Cloud.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Prior internship or professional experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex analysis clearly.

- This is a full-time, remote internship for Summer 2027.
