About the role#
The Danbury Hat Tricks are looking for broadcast production interns to support our media team for the 2026-27 season. You will gain hands-on experience in a professional sports environment. This is an unpaid internship.
What you'll do#
- Work as a camera operator during home games.
- Feed camera footage to the in-arena video board and the YouTube livestream.
- Receive training on replay and production boards if you show talent and interest.
- Arrive 1.5 hours before puck drop and stay for 30 minutes after the game ends.
What you'll need#
- Availability for all home games following your hire date. Games typically occur on Fridays at 7:30 pm and Saturdays at 7:00 pm.
- Residence within commuting distance of Danbury, CT.
- An interest in camera operation. We provide the training.
- Reliability and the ability to follow directions in a busy game environment.
- Basic hockey knowledge is helpful but not required.
