About the role#
This is a one-year, part-time internship based in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. You will work approximately 20 hours per week from June 2027 through May 2028. The role supports the Regional Applications team in maintaining and enhancing business applications across Commercial, Medical, HR, Finance, and Procurement departments. You will work alongside application managers, IT teams, and vendors to ensure systems remain stable and compliant.
What you'll do#
- Support the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, and testing.
- Assist with application development and configuration for platforms like Vault CRM, ServiceNow HRSD, and Concur.
- Create documentation for business requirements, user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and operating procedures.
- Manage quality assurance tasks such as test planning, regression testing, and defect tracking.
- Support service management processes, including incident, request, and change management.
- Assist with vendor management by tracking issues and monitoring action items.
- Research opportunities for automation, artificial intelligence, and process improvements.
- Prepare presentations, status reports, training materials, and executive updates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- A strong interest in enterprise applications, software delivery, and IT operations.
- Experience working in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- A basic understanding of databases, APIs, application integrations, or process mapping is helpful.
