About the role#
The Engineering Co-Op program provides hands-on experience across the full product life cycle. You will rotate through Engineering, Estimating, and Operations departments to understand how design choices impact manufacturing, material requirements, and production outcomes. This role is designed to help you connect theoretical engineering concepts with real-world production and supply chain processes.
What you'll do#
Your responsibilities will vary based on your rotation, but you will generally engage in the following:
- Shadow Estimating Technicians and Design Estimators to learn cost-estimating, RFI processes, and project feasibility.
- Assist engineers with design reviews, project planning, and entry-level engineering tasks.
- Work with Production Planners, Buyers, and the Supply Chain Manager to track orders and establish inventory controls.
- Participate in production operations, including operating select machines and observing products from start to finish.
- Engage in safety, quality, and process improvement discussions.
- Perform project engineering duties and update drawings.
- Attend supplier, customer, or site visits.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, and SolidWorks experience is preferred.
- Strong geometry and trigonometry skills.
- Basic understanding of purchasing, machining, and fabrication processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining an individual contributor mindset.
- Strong time management, detail orientation, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. on a continuous basis and manually push or pull material.

- Location: North Baltimore, Ohio.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Work Modality: On-site.
