Co-Op 2026 – Software Engineering – XiO Cloud (SPA Development)

About the role#

This Co-op position focuses on the development of the XiO Cloud platform, an enterprise-grade web application used by IT and AV professionals to manage IoT edge devices. You will work directly with the XiO Cloud Engineering Team to build and maintain the platform's single-page application, gaining hands-on experience with modern frontend technologies and enterprise software development practices. You will be assigned a dedicated mentor to support your professional growth and technical development.

What you'll do#

• Contribute to well-defined projects supporting the XiO Cloud platform.
• Develop and enhance Angular components, services, and modules.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement responsive and accessible user interface designs.
• Support integration efforts between frontend applications and backend APIs.
• Participate in software testing, debugging, and maintenance activities.
• Assist in developing and executing unit and integration tests.
• Engage in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and technical design discussions.
• Document technical findings and implementation details to support team knowledge sharing.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming fundamentals and an understanding of software development concepts.
• Familiarity with version control using Git.
• Experience or coursework in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive web design, and REST APIs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
