Co-Op 2026 – Software Engineering – Crestron Spaces (Platform-Full Stack)

About the role#

This Co-Op position focuses on the Crestron Spaces platform, providing hands-on experience with backend services, APIs, and application logic. You will work alongside professional engineers and a dedicated mentor to contribute to enterprise-level software development. This role is designed to provide exposure to software architecture, testing processes, and cross-functional collaboration.

What you'll do#

• Contribute to projects supporting the Crestron Spaces platform.
• Assist in developing application logic and backend services using C# and .NET.
• Support integration with REST APIs and external services.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable and maintainable software solutions.
• Participate in software testing, debugging, maintenance, and the execution of unit tests.
• Engage in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and CI/CD activities.
• Document technical findings and implementation details.
• Learn about connected workplace platforms and system integrations.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming fundamentals and knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• Coursework or project experience with C# and the .NET platform.
• Familiarity with version control using Git.
• Basic understanding of APIs and client-server architecture.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.
