About the role#
The Student Care Case Manager provides holistic, student-centered support for undergraduate and professional students. Reporting to the Director of Case Management, you will help students navigate complex personal, mental health, academic, financial, housing, or social challenges. This work is guided by the Jesuit value of cura personalis, or care for the whole person, to promote long-term student success and wellbeing.
What you'll do#
- Partner with students to create strengths-based support and accountability plans.
- Conduct assessments and coordinate necessary campus or community resources.
- Monitor student progress and assist with the return to campus after a leave of absence.
- Collaborate with campus partners to support student needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and evaluate program outcomes.
- Contribute to ongoing student wellbeing initiatives.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred.
- At least 1 year of case management experience.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and case management systems.
- Knowledge of higher education case management, HECMA/CAS standards, and FERPA regulations.
- Strong skills in communication, collaboration, conflict resolution, and advocacy.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
- A commitment to holistic student development and the Jesuit mission and values of the university.
