About the role#
As an Associate Research Consultant, you will contribute to the growth of our commercial real estate database. You will work within our research organization to curate property listings and capture data that supports informed business decisions. This role requires building and maintaining relationships with brokers, developers, and investors to ensure property information is accurate and visible on our platform.
What you'll do#
- Conduct 50 or more inbound and outbound phone calls daily to obtain real-time property and transaction data.
- Investigate new space listings, recent sale and lease transactions, building ownership, and construction activity.
- Partner with clients to help them position and market their properties effectively on the CoStar platform.
- Collaborate with regional teams to dissect trends and qualify market data.
- Document research findings and client interactions accurately in our internal systems.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit university or college with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027.
- Successful completion of the Summer 2026 Research Internship with CoStar Group.
- Major in real estate, business, economics, finance, management, or a comparable program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel 365, including the ability to manipulate data, filter, and develop basic formulas.
- Flexibility to work shifts aligned with ET, CT, MT, and PT time zones.
- Experience or demonstrated knowledge within the commercial real estate industry.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience using AI tools, such as Microsoft 365 Copilot or similar workflows.
- Proven success performing to metrics or key performance indicators.
Location & details#
- Location: Richmond, Virginia.
- This is a full-time, on-site position.
- The role offers an hourly wage equivalent to $73,500 annually.
- We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
