About the role#
Corteva Agriscience is hiring interns for the Crop Health R&D Field Science program. This is a paid, part-time position lasting three to six months during the summer of 2027. You will work alongside Field Scientists to support product development and research efforts across various locations in the United States.
What you'll do#
- Manage field plots and assist with research activities.
- Conduct product characterization and phenotyping for crop protection products.
- Support digital agriculture projects.
- Assist Field Scientists at research centers or from a home-office setting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore or higher at an accredited university.
- Undergraduate or graduate student status.
- An educational focus in Agronomy, Plant Physiology, Plant Pathology, Genetics, Biology, Horticulture, Entomology, Weed Science, or a related field.
- A valid driver license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass both drug and criminal background checks.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- An agricultural background is helpful but not required.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position.
- Locations include Myakka, Florida; Chestertown, Maryland; Belden, Mississippi; and Newcastle, Oklahoma.
- You must be enrolled in an accredited university for the upcoming term at the time of the internship.
