About the role#
The Cornerstone Internship Program provides hands-on training for those who feel called to ministry. You will learn through a mix of classroom lectures, group-think environments, and practical work. This is an unpaid, part-time commitment of 20 hours per week. Interns participate in a weekly cohort meeting every Monday from 2-4pm. The program runs during the Fall and Winter terms.
What you'll do#
You will work with the program director to select a ministry track based on your calling and experience. Tracks include Creative Arts, Production, Worship, Kids, Youth, Adults, and Connections. Your daily tasks vary by track but generally include:
- Ministry support and event execution
- Volunteer coordination and team building
- Logistics planning and content development
- Weekly service participation
What you'll need#
- A growing follower of Jesus for at least two years
- High school graduate
- At least one year of experience volunteering in ministry
- A team player who enjoys working with others
- Your own laptop
- Willingness to follow Cornerstone staff guidelines and values
We prefer candidates who are pursuing a seminary degree or have prior experience in their chosen ministry track.
