About the role#
Cook Solutions Group is hiring NOC Interns to work in our Portland, Oregon office. This is a 6-month, full-time, paid internship with a rolling start date. While not guaranteed, there is a possibility for full-time employment once the internship concludes.
What you'll do#
- Monitor systems and dashboards to detect and resolve technical issues.
- Manage support tickets via phone, email, and ticketing software, escalating when necessary.
- Perform scheduled audits, including surveillance and SAN loitering, with high precision.
- Support after-hours ticket and phone monitoring as scheduled.
- Collaborate with team members to reach service goals.
- Provide customer service that reflects our customer-first mindset.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of an IT certification program.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience or a strong interest in technology.
- Proficiency with Windows 7, VPNs, TCP/IP, Firewalls, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- A professional appearance and a team-oriented attitude.
Location & details#
- Location: Portland, Oregon.
- Modality: On-site.
- Shifts: Monday through Friday, available in 7 AM-4 PM, 1 PM-10 PM, or 10 PM-7 AM slots.
- Pay: $19.00 per hour.
