About the role#
This internship provides experience within our Corporate Trust business line, specifically on the Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) Administration team. You will gain hands-on knowledge of structured finance transactions and mortgage-backed securities programs while working alongside industry professionals. The program runs from June 7 to August 13, 2027, with a preferred extension through August 27, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the administration of structured finance transactions and mortgage-backed securities programs.
- Assist with maintaining transaction records and reviewing documentation.
- Monitor key transaction requirements and prepare reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on day-to-day administrative activities.
- Participate in dedicated learning sessions and receive mentorship from experienced professionals.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program with an expected graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2029.
- Preferred studies in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Mathematics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Initiative to work both independently and within a team setting.

Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site role based in our Toronto office on Bay Street.
- Working hours are 37.5 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
- Compensation is $23.50 CAD per hour.
- Candidates must be based in Toronto or able to commute to the office, as relocation support is not provided.
