About the role#
We are hiring an Environmental Services Intern for the summer of 2026 at the LCMC University Medical Center. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in New Orleans, Louisiana.
What you'll do#
You will support our team in maintaining sanitation and cleanliness standards across the facility. Your work involves participating in quality improvement initiatives, assisting with waste management efforts, and helping with routine facility inspections. You will also monitor site conditions and follow all established safety protocols.
What you'll need#
We are looking for students currently enrolled in a college or university program. Ideal majors include Environmental Engineering, Biology, Public Health, or Civil Engineering. You should have a strong sense of environmental awareness and the ability to work well within a team. We value clear communication and a high level of attention to detail in your daily tasks.

This internship is located in New Orleans, LA. It is an on-site role for the summer 2026 term. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this position.
