    About the role#

    This is a paid, full-time Environmental Services Internship for Summer 2026. You will work on-site at LCMC University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, gaining hands-on experience in healthcare sanitation and safety protocols within the food and beverage services industry.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with the daily cleaning and sanitation of designated facility areas.
    • Learn and apply proper procedures for handling hazardous materials.
    • Support the broader team in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment.
    • Participate in required training sessions and team meetings.
    • Identify and report any maintenance issues to your supervisor.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a degree program, specifically in Public Health, Environmental Engineering, Biology, or Nursing.
    • Basic knowledge of environmental services.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize daily tasks.
