About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience within the Environmental Services group at a healthcare facility. You will work alongside leadership to develop skills in healthcare support services. This role is designed to provide a foundation for a career in business operations while you contribute to the daily cleanliness and safety of the hospital environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform and assist with hospital cleanliness tasks.
- Manage, schedule, and train frontline team members.
- Support vendor relations and patient experience efforts.
- Ensure patient satisfaction and public relations through efficient resource use.
- Execute operational standards and maintain a safe work environment.
- Respond to requests and concerns with urgency and take corrective action.
- Maintain facility security and identify quality assurance concerns.
- Provide guidance and motivation to staff members.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college or university junior or senior.
- Major in Business Administration.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels, from hourly associates to the Director.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to set priorities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Interest in a career with Crothall Healthcare and the Accelerated Manager Program after graduation is preferred.

- Compensation: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour.
