About the role#
This internship provides a 12-15 week curriculum for a Kinesiology undergraduate student. You will balance clinical observation with operational support. The role includes a longitudinal quality improvement project developed in collaboration with the GV Rehab Quality Committee. You will participate in a rotational observation model covering physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
What you'll do#
- Conduct a longitudinal quality improvement project.
- Collaborate with the GV Rehab Quality Committee.
- Pull dirty linens and restock clean linens.
- Organize equipment and ensure therapy tools are labeled and placed correctly.
- Wipe down treatment tables and exercise equipment between patient visits.
- Break down discharged charts, scan paperwork, and handle filing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Kinesiology undergraduate program.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in Grand Junction, Colorado.
- You must relocate to Grand Junction before starting work.
- This is a full-time, unpaid internship for the Winter 2027 term.
