About the role#
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant Intern to join our team in Huntsville. This role provides direct exposure to healthcare management and business administration. You will work alongside leadership to support office operations, caregiver recruitment, and client coordination. This is a part-time, paid internship with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Greet visitors and manage incoming calls and emails to maintain office communication.
- Prepare orientation materials and assist with candidate screening.
- Confirm interviews and send compliance and document reminders.
- Audit digital and physical employee files and process administrative paperwork.
- Track office supply inventories.
- Participate in community outreach events and assist with tabling setup and logistics.
- Shadow supervisory client visits to gain practical experience.
What you'll need#
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace tools including Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Gmail.
- A high level of discretion and a commitment to maintaining confidential information.
- An eagerness to learn administrative, HR, and operational processes in the healthcare field.
- A willingness to complete provided HIPAA compliance training.
- Current enrollment or recent graduation in Business Administration or Health Administration.
