This position is for a Non-Student Hourly Research Assistant within the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Pathology. The role involves supporting therapeutic evaluation studies by working directly with mice in a BSL-3 facility.
What you'll do#
- Monitor, weigh, and administer antimycobacterial compounds to mice.
- Perform oral gavage of mice within the BSL-3 facility.
- Evaluate and record rodent behavioral scores.
- Maintain ongoing BSL-3 clearance.
What you'll need#
- Current BSL-3 training and approval.
- Demonstrated proficiency in mouse oral gavage.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with mouse oral gavage in a BSL-3 facility.

- Location: Fort Collins, Colorado.
- Term: Summer 2026 (Anticipated start date: 07/16/2026).
- Schedule: 20-30 hours per week.
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
