About the role#
The Junior AP Advisor Intern supports the Accounts Payable team and assists with various accounting functions. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, this contract position provides hands-on experience for students or recent graduates in the accounting field.
What you'll do#
- Review, process, and route invoices electronically for coding and approval.
- Enter invoices into Workday for payment processing.
- Respond to inquiries from sites and suppliers regarding outstanding invoices.
- Assist with weekly cheque runs and payment processing activities.
- Support month-end activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
- Maintain supplier information and vendor records.
- Prepare and process Electronic Integration Builder (EIB) uploads.
What you'll need#
- A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Previous co-op, internship, or accounting experience is considered an asset.
- Experience using Workday or Yardi is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour.
