About the role#
Coaction Global is offering a full-time paid internship for Summer 2027. This program provides hands-on experience within the insurance industry, focusing on the claims process across product verticals such as casualty, property, and executive liability. Interns will work directly with senior professionals to develop professional skills and gain exposure to the daily operations of a specialty insurance company.
What you'll do#
- Gain a thorough understanding of the claims process through an apprenticeship with a senior claim professional.
- Review claim files and gain exposure to litigated cases.
- Participate in meetings with personnel from all levels of the organization.
- Contribute to ongoing claims investigations, including attending mediations, trials, and court sessions.
- Interface with external vendors, such as defense and coverage lawyers.
- Collaborate with underwriters and other departments to collect claim data and identify industry trends.
- Participate in claims round table sessions to discuss investigation findings and evaluation recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising junior with an anticipated graduation date of May 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Economics.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Genuine interest in exploring a career within the insurance industry.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and organized approach to tasks.
- Ability to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.

- Location: Morristown, New Jersey.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June to August).
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time position requiring attendance in the office 5 days per week. No relocation assistance is provided.
