About the role#
This is a seasonal contract position for a Junior Credit Analyst within the Mortgage Valuations team. You will work directly with commercial mortgage professionals to support risk rating, pricing, and asset management services for financial institutions and investment managers.
What you'll do#
- Conduct risk analysis of fixed income products secured by commercial real estate debt.
- Assist with the workflow of collecting and filing financial information for annual client reviews.
- Maintain industry research and sector databases to ensure data accuracy.
- Provide research and formatting support for industry-specific reports and team presentations.
- Support special projects and team-wide initiatives as they arise.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the 3rd or 4th year of a post-secondary program in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize complex data.
- Proficiency in building organized spreadsheets in Excel and the ability to communicate results effectively.
- A detail-oriented approach with a consistent 'double-check' mindset.
