About the role#
CloudFit Software is planning for its Summer 2027 internship program. This is a paid, full-time opportunity for students and career changers to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment. You will work on real projects, learn from mentors, and gain exposure to senior leadership. This program includes individual coaching, professional development, and opportunities to serve the community.
What you'll do#
Interns contribute to active projects across several technical areas. You will participate in team-building activities and company events. Your work may focus on:
- Software development
- AI and machine learning
- Infrastructure and automation
- Cybersecurity
- Technical program management
What you'll need#
We are looking for high school students, college students, or career changers who have a strong work ethic. You must be able to work well in a team and show attention to detail.
- Full-time availability (40 hours per week) for the 10-week program
- Prior volunteer experience
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to pass a background check
- Current Federal Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one
Location & details#
This is an on-site internship located at the CloudFit campus in Lynchburg, Virginia. The program is scheduled for Summer 2027, with a formal selection process expected to begin in early 2027.
