About the role#
This internship focuses on building software and data engineering platforms for the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, and other federal agencies. You will work directly on active projects to support CI/CD production and learn the nuances of government contracting. We expect you to contribute to team objectives from your first day.
What you'll do#
- Support CI/CD production workflows.
- Gain exposure to the Cyber Operations domain.
- Learn a new programming language and refine your technical tradecraft.
- Solve routine problems within existing work processes and systems.
- Communicate with team members to exchange information and reach project agreements.
- Deliver on daily objectives that impact team results.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Experience with Go or Python.
- Knowledge of network programming, data structures, and data models.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience building microservices, including REST-based architectures.
- Completion of CTF or other hackathon challenges.
- Previous experience in a professional environment.
- Comfort working in a high-trust, adaptable team.
