About the role#
CivicScience internships introduce students to the world of market intelligence, advertising, and media. These roles are designed for undergraduate and graduate students to gain professional experience while earning college credit. You will work alongside business leaders to support our goals in areas such as marketing, communications, human resources, data analysis, and product management.
What you'll do#
- Brainstorm creative ideas for products, programs, and initiatives.
- Draft content for internal and external communications.
- Research innovative and responsible ways to incorporate artificial intelligence into workflows, platforms, and operating procedures.
- Discover educational opportunities across branding, market research, technology, and finance.
- Create project deliverables, including written documentation and presentations, that meet academic standards.
What you'll need#
- Ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Excellent written communication skills with impeccable grammar.
- Eligibility to receive college credits for an unpaid internship.
- Current enrollment in relevant academic programs, such as Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, Computer Science, or Data Science.
- Tech literacy across a variety of platforms and programs.
Location & details#
- This is a remote role for US-based students.
- The program lasts 6 to 10 weeks.
- The time commitment is up to 20 hours per week.
- Preference is given to candidates in the greater Pittsburgh region.
- This is an unpaid, for-credit internship.
