About the role#
Citizens Health is hiring a Pharmacy Intern to work part-time in our inpatient pharmacy. This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is located in Colby, Kansas.
What you'll do#
- Perform pharmacy tasks within the inpatient setting.
- Maintain a safe work environment by identifying common safety hazards.
- Collaborate with other hospital departments, patients, and their families.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
- Manage tasks that involve extended periods of standing or sitting and lifting up to 30 pounds.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Experience with office productivity software such as email, calendars, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets our insurance carrier criteria.
- Clear communication skills and a professional appearance.
- A self-starting attitude, integrity, and the ability to accept constructive criticism.
- Reliability regarding work schedules and professional conduct.
