About the role#
CIRCOR International is hiring for a full-time Engineering Intern in Monroe, North Carolina. This is a rolling, on-site, paid internship for students currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program.
What you'll do#
- Assemble, test, and document Capital, AFM, and NPD products.
- Characterize and evaluate equipment to report on its viability.
- Assist with equipment design and participate in design reviews.
- Document product cycle testing for design test to failure.
- Manage product data books and compile data packages.
- Create, verify, and update bills of materials plus engineering releases.
- Maintain equipment datasheets and technical documentation.
- Handle other projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited university engineering program, having completed your Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year.
- Preferred majors include Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Design experience using SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software.
- A solid skillset in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- A basic understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Knowledge of manufacturing principles is a plus.
