About the role#
The Financial Systems Analyst supports and administers the financial systems at Chestnut Hill College. This role manages modules within Jenzabar J1, JFA, PowerFAIDS, and ADP. You will work with the Student Financial Services office and other campus partners to ensure systems meet operational needs and regulatory requirements. You will also develop data analyses, system integrations, and technology solutions to support efficient financial services.
What you'll do#
- Administer and maintain core financial and student aid software.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design technical solutions.
- Translate business needs into reliable system implementations.
- Develop and maintain business process and system documentation.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and accurate regulatory reporting.
- Use SQL to manage tables, views, stored procedures, and queries.
- Explain technical concepts to non-technical staff and administrators.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Three to five years of experience supporting financial systems.
- Working knowledge of higher education financial aid and related business processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
- Experience with SQL programming.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently or in a team.
- Understanding of system integration, data flows, and automated exchanges.
- Familiarity with ADP or other payroll/HRIS platforms is preferred.
- Experience with PowerFAIDS, Jenzabar J1, or JFA is preferred.
- Commitment to the mission and core values of the College.
