About the role#
The Cherokee Internship Program offers Cherokee college students an immersive experience across our properties and offices. You will work alongside professionals to gain insight into the casino and hospitality industry. The program runs from late May through early August 2027. You will build professional relationships while learning about the diverse career paths available within the organization.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience within your assigned department.
- Support day-to-day operations and department initiatives.
- Take ownership of projects and deliver measurable contributions.
- Collaborate with team members across various CNE properties.
- Participate in professional development, networking, and learning opportunities.
- Build relationships with CNE leaders and fellow interns.
- Represent the company with professionalism and curiosity.
What you'll need#
- Must be a Cherokee Nation citizen with a valid CDIB or Cherokee Nation Citizenship Card.
- Currently enrolled in a four-year accredited college or university.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take initiative.
- Professional, dependable, and eager to learn.
