About the role#
Charlie Health is seeking second-year master’s students for a clinical practicum or internship experience within our virtual Intensive Outpatient Program. You will gain direct experience working with high-acuity clients while receiving supervision from experienced therapists. This role offers exposure to group, individual, and family therapy sessions, as well as opportunities to engage in clinical research and curriculum development.
What you'll do#
- Participate in group, individual, and family sessions under the supervision of an experienced clinician.
- Observe and co-facilitate therapeutic interventions using evidence-based modalities.
- Attend clinical supervision meetings and engage in reflective practice.
- Collaborate with members of the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and professional standards.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a master’s-level program in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Status as a second-year student in your master’s program.
- Prior clinical experience.
- Demonstrated interest in working with high-acuity populations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
