About the role#
Charlie Health is seeking second or final year master's students to join our virtual care team for a clinical practicum. You will work with high-acuity clients in an Intensive Outpatient Program setting. This role provides direct experience under the supervision of an experienced therapist as you develop clinical skills through various treatment modalities.
What you'll do#
- Participate in group, individual, and family sessions under the guidance of a supervisor.
- Observe and co-facilitate therapeutic interventions using evidence-based methods.
- Attend clinical supervision meetings and engage in reflective practice.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all ethical and professional standards.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a master's program for Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Status as a second-year student in your master's program.
- Previous clinical experience.
- An interest in working with high-acuity populations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, paid, full-time internship.
- Placements are based on rolling availability.
- Internship offers are contingent on the availability of clinical supervisors licensed in your state.
