Clinical Practicum Intern (Master's Level)

About the role#

Charlie Health is seeking second-year master’s students for a clinical practicum or internship experience within our virtual Intensive Outpatient Program. This role provides direct experience working with high-acuity clients. You will develop clinical skills through various client interactions under the close supervision of experienced therapists.

What you'll do#

• Participate in group, individual, and family sessions under the supervision of an experienced clinician.
• Observe and co-facilitate therapeutic interventions using evidence-based modalities.
• Attend clinical supervision meetings and engage in reflective practice.
• Collaborate with members of the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and professional standards.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a master’s-level program in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Status as a second-year student in your master’s program.
• Prior clinical experience.
• Interest in working with high-acuity populations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• This is a remote, paid internship position based in the United States.
• The term is rolling.
• Placements are contingent on the availability of clinical supervisors licensed in your state.
