About the role#
The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking second-year Master's students for paid clinical internship positions. Interns will join either the Outpatient Clinics or In Home Therapy teams to gain experience in community behavioral health.
What you'll do#
- Provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions both on-site and through telehealth platforms.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team within the outpatient clinic setting.
- Deliver intensive support to children and adolescents with serious emotional and behavioral health needs.
- Conduct sessions in various environments including client homes, schools, libraries, and other community locations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a second-year Master's student in Psychology, Public Health, Health Administration, Nursing, or Biomedical Sciences.
- Genuine interest in community behavioral health.
- Ability to demonstrate high-level skills in therapeutic engagement with diverse clients.
- Proficiency in diagnostic skills and commitment to evidence-based practices.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred.

- Locations: Springfield, Holyoke, Easthampton, Greenfield, West Springfield, and Chicopee, Massachusetts.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $20 per hour.
