About the role#
As the Internal Communications Intern, you will help develop and execute strategies that inform and connect employees across the company. You will gain hands-on experience in a growing consumer packaged goods company by contributing to employee engagement, storytelling, and cross-functional projects. This role reports to the Internal Communications team.
What you'll do#
- Create content for the intranet and internal newsletters, including research, drafting, editing, and basic design.
- Partner with HR, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to find stories and build engaging communications.
- Research and recommend improvements to communication workflows, such as content intake and distribution.
- Use AI tools to improve content creation and overall communication processes.
- Analyze engagement metrics to suggest ways to improve reach and performance.
- Assist with employee recognition programs and other communication initiatives.
- Support broader team projects, including public relations and investor relations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Must be enrolled full-time and entering your junior or senior year.
- Previous experience through internships, campus involvement, or project work.
- Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience collaborating across teams and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with content management systems or newsletter platforms.
- Interest in employee engagement, corporate storytelling, and AI tools like ChatGPT Enterprise.
- Knowledge of or interest in the food and beverage or consumer packaged goods industry.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- You must be able to work on-site at our headquarters in Boca Raton, Florida, five days per week.
