About the role#
The Operations Management Intern role is a training position designed to prepare you for future leadership within our plant operations. This internship typically lasts 12 weeks and provides exposure to the daily workflow of grain handling facilities. You will gain hands-on experience while shadowing different teams and departments. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate and build relationships with colleagues and clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Learn about leadership in safety and regulatory compliance.
- Gain knowledge of talent management, including how to mentor and develop teams.
- Support employee engagement through human resources policies and strategies.
- Collaborate on production process improvements and capital project initiatives.
- Spend time in a plant environment, including outdoor work, to learn elevator operations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations Management, Agriculture, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or related fields.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide variety of people.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Willingness to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, including weekends.
- Ability to work in various environments, including offices, outdoors, and at heights.
- High degree of initiative and resourcefulness.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without third-party sponsorship.

- Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota (with potential for relocation to other U.S. sites).
- Term: Summer 2027.
