About the role#
The Operations Management Intern role is a training position designed to prepare students for future leadership roles in plant operations. This 12-week internship provides hands-on experience in grain handling facilities. You will work in a plant environment, spending a significant portion of your time outdoors, while gaining exposure to the daily workflows of various departments. This role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and the development of leadership skills within the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate and build relationships with colleagues and clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Gain practical experience in plant operations and production maintenance.
- Support leadership in safety and regulatory compliance.
- Assist with talent management and employee engagement strategies.
- Collaborate on production process improvements and capital project initiatives.

What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited program in Operations Management, Agriculture, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Economics.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds and cultures.
- Willingness and ability to relocate for the internship.
- Ability to work with limited guidance and demonstrate high initiative.
